Massage therapy clinic
The clinic at the Durham College Spa is where students from the college’s intensive Massage Therapy program put their training into practice. While delivering massage therapy treatments to clients under the guidance and supervision of experienced Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) and professors, student practitioners continuously develop their skills and knowledge to meet the professional standards set by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

We ask that you keep in mind throughout your visit that the clinic is a teaching and learning environment. As such, student practitioners seek and receive guidance from their professors as needed while they work. Massage therapy student practitioners are not allowed to accept tips. A referral of friends and family is the best compliment you can offer to our students.
For our cosmetics and esthetics student practitioners, tips are welcome and an encouragement as they continue to hone their skills to meet the highest industry-wide standards. Envelopes are available at the main desk for your convenience.
We understand that life happens and appreciate 24 hours advance notice of cancellation so that we can rebook the time slot with another guest and ensure our students continue to gain the practical experience they need to succeed in their chosen field. Failure to provide advance notice may result in a charge placed on the client’s account.
For late arrivals, services may be modified to meet the remaining time within your appointment at the full price to ensure the next guest’s appointment time is uninterrupted. Walk-in appointments may be accepted in cases where guests arrive more than 10 minutes late for their scheduled appointment.
All treatment and service spaces within the Durham College Spa are dedicated to providing excellent service to our clients while simultaneously providing excellent training and learning to our student practitioners.

Yes, complimentary parking is available for all spa clients in the Visitors Lot 2 lot on campus. Please take a ticket from the machine upon entering the lot and bring it to the spa’s welcome desk for validation before or after your treatment/service.
Yes, gift certificates are available for purchase in any denomination at the spa’s welcome desk.
